Plaid Style: Part I

Hi, everyone!
SA here.

I hope you all are doing good.Sorry for late appearance again. I was busy with my MBA exam. But, we are with you to share some of the ways we can style our plaid shirt on your humble request. Is plaid shirt your favourite spring fashion staple? They are so versatile that you can wear them in many different ways from formal to chick look. It's just so easy to style as it is cool and cozy that goes with anything that is in your wardrobe. Here we present you the two of many ways to style them.

AJ

Layer your plaid shirt under a sweater and let the collar and sleeves pop out for a preppy look.

This look is perfect for the cold days when you are looking for warm outfit. Slightly thicker sweater will be the best layering as you don't want those buttons to poke through your top and little short one so that you can see hem peek out from underneath.
AJ styled her green & blue plaid shirt with her vibrant red color sweater, black denim and a pair of animal print moccasins.

SA

Unbutton your plaid shirt and wear it open over white or black outfits to look cool and effortless.

It is a best way to use your shirt as a cardigan. If you don't have one, then you don't have to worry, You can always style your boyfriend shirt as it will be oversize and perfectly go for this look.
I styled my black & white plaid shirt with white tank top and denim jeans and my favourite ray ban sun glass.

Goodbye winter

 Greetings Internet!
AJ here :)
The temperatures are soaring. Its time to say goodbye to the winter season. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of winter & cold feeling but I'm definitely going to miss chunky sweaters, beanies and hot chocolate.

Talking about this post, its a look that was supposed to go live way before. We shot this look a month back, on a gloomy day. And this has to be the hardest shoot till date due to bad weather and lighting.

AJ
I am a monochrome lover but very rarely will I flaunt it without a pop of colour either in the form of my lipstick or some accessories! But this time, I decided to add a multi-color cape gifted by my mother in law. I love versatile pieces. It gives very boho vibe when worn with a pair of jeans, boots and a hat. I even wore it with a saree for a party. It is also a very good option to hide your food belly :P

SA
A lot of people might call this 'safe dressing'. But for us looking good and feeling good at all times is much higher than blindly falling prey to this ever changing phenomena called fashion. So, this next look is the one that SA goes for when she has "I don't know what I want to wear" situation. She paired her knitted dress with black winter tights and grey booties. Also, she accessorised this look with her contagious smile. So Cute!!

Red Affair : Valentine Special

Happy Valentine's Day Internet!!
AJ here :)
Balloons, roses and mushy feelings. It's that time of the year again, the day is all about celebrating love. Now I'm not someone who is very high on these randomly made important days, but Valentine's Day comes with flowers, gifts and sweet words which, I am a complete sucker for!
For this valentine's day, this is how we styled our outfits. We have created two different date looks that are perfect for any time of winter.

Table for two please!
We all, at some point in life go through a phase where all we think of is- that one person. The only reasonable choice of color to wear on Valentine's day is red! This knitted skirt with button detail belonged to my aunt(fufu), it was her favorite thing during 90's. Paired it with red high neck sweater, perfect for a romantic date with your special someone. Accessorize with effortless pieces and let the outfit have a moment of glory. I accessorized with my gold chain necklace and strap heels to add some edge to the look.A simple black bag with gold detailing finished the look. Not only is this look, super cute but it's also comfortable enough to take your through the day.

Take me to the movies!
This look is definitely more flirty and in-your-face ‘Valentine’s’-y, which is why I love it.The heart prints make this sweater so fun and feminine! Also, not to forget my love for peter pan collar is evergreen. She wanted to get a black skater skirt ever since my mom made for me and she finally owns one. Finish the look with some statement shoes, she went for these pale pink and black ballet flat with bows. Not only are they comfortable but super cute too. You can go for wedges or vans(whichever suits your style).

Sweater Delight

Hi Everyone!
SA here :)
(due to some technical problems posting from AJ's account)
I hope you all are doing good. My week was loaded with a bunch of projects and assignments. How was yours? You can always share with us.
Winds of winter are still here, This time not quite liking winter season. But, good thing is that I am always fond of sweaters and bright colors, it helps us to look vibrant and cheerful, And this time for styling we picked our favorite sweater from our wardrobe.

SA
As I have a yellow obsession I couldn't keep away myself from buying this mustard color sweater. I am in love with this sweater. I always go for bright color while shopping. Here, I have paired up mustard sweater with light  wash blue denim and a pair of blue and yellow Nike shoes. I wanted this look to be more causal and sporty.

AJ
Did u like this multicolor sweater on AJ?
I gifted her this beautiful thing on her birthday, and I was so glad that she liked it so much. I can still remember that smile on her face. We are alike and most of our choices are same. For styling, her sweater she wore chiffon button on shirt underneath. She also paired it up with wash blue denim pant and a cute pair of light golden ballet. She kept her look simple and feminine.

Winds of Winter

Greetings Internet :)
AJ here!
Well, we already failed with the posting schedule. To be fair, we both have been preeeetty busy with traveling(vacation), exams and random stuff. SOOOH "insert more excuses" "cut us some slack" "live laugh love"This is a huge moment because this is our first blog post of twenty sixteen. Now let's hope that we stay consistent.
Yesterday was another gorgeous day in Kathmandu! Shabnam and I grabbed lunch & did a little shopping. And this is how we styled our outfits.

AJ

I got this jacket at the UFO(Baneshwor)  sale a couple of years ago and get so much wear out of it. I love olive green during fall and winter season, I paired it with a white high-neck and high waisted jeans(soo comfy!) Also, I get tons of questions on my favorite basics- and this Adidas Superstar is totally a must-have. Backpacks have been my jam this season. I love being able to carry a ton of belongings on me but have the flexibility of not having to actually hold it (makes sense?!).

SA

Simple looks are the best for times when you want to look put together & don't have time to hunt down the perfect outfit. She always keeps solid, staple pieces in her closet like this off-white sporty sweater. This is also a good way to incorporate your summer pieces during winter. SA wore a classic converse to finish her look and yes! her favorite handbag these days.
